Definition
What time and attendance is and why it is mandatory
A time and attendance system (or working time record) is how a company documents each employee’s actual working day: clock-in and clock-out times, breaks and hours worked. Since 2019, under Royal Decree-Law 8/2019, this record is mandatory for every company in Spain, whatever its size, sector or type of contract.
Fines for not keeping it range from €626 to €6,250 per company, and the labour inspectorate can ask for it at any time. JobFichador takes care of compliance with a multi-channel system (mobile, web, desktop), shift and absence management, and a native connection to the ERP Jobers for staff and cost centres.
