Definition
What is an ERP for building materials?
An ERP for building materials is all-in-one management software designed for warehouses, distributors and manufacturers in the sector. Unlike a generic ERP, it understands the realities of the day-to-day: shades and calibres in ceramics, volume discounts, quarterly rebates, multiple sales units (pallet, box, linear metre), customer-specific price lists and seamless traceability from delivery note to invoice.
The ERP Jobers has specialised for over 35 years in ceramics and building materials companies in Spain. It covers the full cycle: purchasing, sales, multi-company warehouse, treasury, accounting and production, with sector modules that replace the bespoke customisation generalist ERPs require.
Industries we serve
ERP specialised in construction, ceramics and industrial supplies
Every sector has its own logic. ERP Jobers has it built in, with no bespoke development.
Building materials warehouses
Cement, aggregates, plaster, brick, block, concrete. Multi-warehouse with stock control by location, batch and expiry date.
Ceramics and tiles
Management by shade, calibre, face and size. Base grouping, control of coordinated pieces and decorations.
Industrial hardware
Extensive catalogues with thousands of references, equivalents management, volume discounts and rebates.
Plumbing and sanitaryware
Pipes, taps, fittings. Control of multiple sales units (box, pallet, linear metre).
Electrical and lighting
Cable by the metre, switches and sockets, light fittings. Supplier price lists with bulk updates.
Paint and decoration
Tinting systems, formula traceability, returnable container management.
Specialised vs. generic
Why a sector ERP rather than a generalist ERP
Generic ERP (Sage, Holded, Odoo, NetSuite)
- ✕ No native logic for ceramic shades, calibres or faces.
- ✕ Expensive bespoke customisation to cover the sector’s discounts and rebates.
- ✕ Multiple sales units (pallet/box/metre) require extra development.
- ✕ Generic support, with no knowledge of the warehouse’s day-to-day.
- ✕ Long implementations and dependence on the partner.
ERP Jobers (specialised in the sector)
- ✓ Shades, calibres, faces, coordinated bases: at the core of the product.
- ✓ Tiered discounts, automatic rebates and customer price lists, ready to go.
- ✓ Multiple sales units and automatic conversions as standard.
- ✓ Support from a team that understands the sector because it works in it exclusively.
- ✓ Implementation in 4–8 weeks for a standard warehouse.
Regulatory compliance
VeriFactu, e-invoicing and the AEAT
The VeriFactu Regulation (Spanish Royal Decree 1007/2023) requires invoicing systems to guarantee integrity, preservation, accessibility, legibility, traceability and inalterability. Following the postponement under Royal Decree-Law 15/2025, the current dates are 1 January 2027 for companies and 1 July 2027 for the self-employed.
ERP Jobers is ready and certified: every invoice issued carries an electronic signature, a hash chained to the previous one, a QR stamp and optional real-time submission to the AEAT (the Spanish tax agency). Traceability from delivery note → invoice → payment is kept seamless, a key requirement for warehouses handling hundreds of delivery notes a day.
